Thank you for being here. My name is America Barajas, I am a REALTOR® with Compass based in Pleasanton and serving clients throughout the East Bay and Tri-Valley.

I’ve always been someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and working well under pressure. Real estate gives me the opportunity to bring all of those strengths together. I like coordinating the moving pieces, anticipating challenges, negotiating, and helping my clients navigate decisions with as much clarity as possible.

Before real estate, I spent nearly a decade working in corporate business dining for a large bay area tech company, where my role involved budgeting, finances, staffing, operations, and team development. I later moved into community association management, where I continue to work closely with homeowners, boards, vendors, budgets, maintenance, and property-related issues. Those experiences have shaped the way I work today: organized, practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a lot at once.

I also truly appreciate homes themselves — the architecture, the neighborhoods, the potential of a property, and what homeownership can mean for a family over time. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing clients build stability and long-term wealth through real estate.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of three. Family is a huge part of my life, and I enjoy being social, staying active, meeting new people, and making time for the people who matter most to me.

For me, real estate is really about connection, problem-solving, and helping people move forward with confidence.
